For those coming to San Francisco on business, The Touchstone Hotel is the hotel of choice. Ever wanted to be close enough to work to have an easy commute but not so close as being stuck there? Well, this hotel understands that! Located just off Union Square and the Cable Cars, we are a 5-minute walk from Moscone Convention Center and the Financial District. But, we are still far enough that those choosing to get away from the masses and experience a little of the real San Francisco can do so easily.

  • Ocean Beach is a short drive or a casual bus ride from the hotel, offering beautiful California sunset (mother nature permitting...). Beachfront Location

  • The hotel is an interior corridor property, with only one front door for access. We are staffed 24-hours, and after hours, our front door is locked, allowing only guests with a key to enter. And if you're looking for something a little different, please keep in mind that you ARE in San Francisco, and you are surrounded by more restaurants than you could possibly eat from in a lifetime...     These rooms are a little on the small size, ideally suited for the individual traveler, though they are certainly willing to put couples in here. The issue is not so much the bed-size, but the room-size. As long as the two of you are comfortable being together, or don't plan to spend much time in the room, you should be just fine. They'll do their best to fill all requests possible.
